Breakfast
Brickell has plenty of places to have breakfast, whether you're just grabbing a quick coffee before work or looking to relax with a feast before you start your day. A Family is a small Argentinian bakery with some super strong coffee. If you're looking for a healthy breakfast, check out Greenlife, Dr. Smood or Joe & The Juice. Some call B Bistro & Bakery the "best breakfast in Brickell" for their famous pastelito pancakes, but Amour de Miami puts up a good fight with their creative breakfast concoctions. Who has your vote?
Lunch
Some days, lunch means ordering takeout from a fast casual spot like Zuuk or My Ceviche (expect a slew of "OMG where'd you get that?" from coworkers). Other days, you have to an impress a client and only want the best of the best Brickell lunch spots. Put on your fancy pants and check out Fleming's for an excellent prime steak or Hutong for Brickell's most amazing Chinese food. Click below to see all the places you can get lunch in Brickell
Dinner
With Brickell restaurants finally opening back up again for outdoor & indoor dining, most people can't wait to get out of their house and explore the best spots to grab dinner in Brickell. Feeling indecisive? Head over to Brickell City Centre where you can choose between Italian, Mexican, Japanese, and Cuban cuisine all just meters away from each other.
Weekend Brunch
With bars, clubs, and other entertainment being closed, brunch is one of the few things we have left to look forward to on the weekends. There are a few spots that compete for the best brunch in Brickell. Check out American Social for a relaxed waterfront weekend, or Batch Gastropub to get rowdy and watch some sports. Italian Food
When it comes to Italian food in Brickell, you are never short on options between all the craveable pizza places like DC Pie Co and MisterO1 and the 2 massive food halls in Brickell City Centre, Casa Tua and Luna Park. See the full list at the button below
Sushi/Poke
You won't believe how many great Brickell sushi & poke spots there are! For a special occasion, stop by by Komodo, a 3-story lounge that combines contemporary Southeast Asian cuisine with a South Florida vibe. Or head to Akashi for a more casual sushi night. Poke Life is great when you're on the go around Brickell and need a quick & healthy lunch. See the rest at the link below.
Tacos/Mexican Food
Tacos always sound like a good idea! For some of Miami's best tacos, try these Mexican restaurants in Brickell.. Coyo is famous around town for its fresh and authentic Mexican Street food AND delicious margaritas. The laid-back style is friendly and comfortable for quick meals with friends. Another one of our favorites is Tacology on the 4th floor of Brickell City Centre - we love the iPad ordering system because you can see all the menu items before you order (which is also dangerous when you're hungry). Find your Taco Tuesday lineup below:
Happy Hour
Oh how we missed happy hour during quarantine! With Brickell's work hard/play hard mentality, we might just be the happy hour capital of the world. We're glad to see all our favorite 5pm spots back in the swing of things (socially distanced, of course). With COVID restrictions, these happy hour venues are subject to change so please kindly let us know if our Brickell happy hour list needs updating.
Ice Cream
There's no such thing as Fall in Miami and it's never a bad time to cool off with an ice cream cone. Everybody who walks by Freddo by Mary Brickell Village can't help but stopping in while they brave Brickell's sweltering heat, and we know everybody ends their BCC shopping trip with a stop to Haagen Dazs. Even if quarantine has you on a vegan kick, Cocowhip is the spot for you! Check out all the places you can get ice cream in Brickell at the link below.
Exercise/Health
Remember in March when we were all working out on our balconies and doing zoom yoga in our living rooms? Good times.... But as life slowly goes back to normal, we can finally go back to the gyms we've missed so much. There's Redbike for a Miami-esque clubby cycling class, Sweat440 for a quick HIIT circuit, or CKO Kickboxing to get out that pent-up frustration from quarantine. Most of these gyms are offering COVID-friendly alternatives to their regular classes, some at lower capacity, some outdoors, and some on zoom. Please check with each facility before you visit.
Beauty/Spas
If there's something we all need as 2020 comes to an end, it's a spa day (or month). As we finally put on pants and return to our offices, a haircut or a manicure might be a good idea too! Before you go back, stop by Brickell Nail Bar for a perfect pedi, face. brow & beauty bar to tame those quarantine brows, and Ninette Hair Salon for a fresh trim. Check out the complete list of Brickell spots where you can get the pampering you deserve:
Pet Goods & Services
We didn't forget about your best friends! Pets are people too, so of course a city like Brickell with about 1 in every 3 people owning a dog would have businesses dedicated to their happiness. For dog walking, boarding, grooming, accessories, and more, click below.
Shopping
Because of the construction of Brickell City Centre in 2017, Brickell is now one of the best places to go shopping in Miami, competing with the design district and Bal Harbour. Brickell City Centre is the monster when it comes to Brickell shopping, with a unique & futuristic design and a number of luxury boutiques. Just a block away is Mary Brickell Village which also has a number of shops and kiosks for jewelry, eyewear, women's clothing, and more! Outdoors/Parks
On September 28th, the remaining City of Miami parks will finally be open to the public after months of closures due to COVID-19. This includes Southside Park, a 7 acre area full of tree-covered pathways (yes, it's in Brickell!). Click below to see which parks are walking distance from your home.
We try to keep this information as current as possible, but please keep in mind that because of COVID, some things may have changed. Please kindly let us know if you think we should make any changes or additions.
