Nick Jonas celebrated Priyanka Chopra's birthday with a fun-filled trip to Miami

7/21/19 - The couple and their friends headed off to Komodo Restaurant in Miami’s Brickell neighbourhood to dance the night away. The 37-year-old’s party included a lavish four-tiered cake, with red confection, metallic embellishments, a “Priyanka” cake topper, and massive sparklers. Pictures from the event showed Priyanka and Nick looking as loved up as ever, as he takes pictures of his wife with the cake.

Arquitectonica’s Iconic First Building, the Babylon, is Being Demolished Now

6/9/19 - Spaghetti western star Francisco Martinez-Celeiro, also known as George Martin, has gotten his way. One of Miami-based firm Arquitectonica’s first buildings, the Babylon Apartments, is being demolished by Mr. Celeiro, its longtime owner. The Biscayne Times says demolition is expected to be completed by July, but just walk past it, and the Babylon, once an icon of postmodernist architecture in Miami, is a sad sight.

5/14/19 - The owner of a historic house repurposed as offices in Miami’s Brickell district will keep the property after fighting off a buyback pursued by the previous owner.The current and the former owners fought in court for four years over the 9,172-square-foot, two-story house at 1548 Brickell Ave. Its Neo-Classical architecture and a portico supported by four colossal Corinthian columns make it more reminiscent of a Southern mansion than part of the busy Financial District.

Brickell’s new hot spot opens this summer on the Miami River

5/11/19 - There’s a new place to eat and drink and socialize in Brickell this summer — and it’s got a waterfront view. The development, at Fifth Street and South Miami Avenue, will be home to six different restaurants, a tap room, beer garden and cafe and an event space for community use. A waterfront boardwalk will connect the venue to Brickell Avenue, and the boardwalk along the South Miami Avenue Bridge will be extended with an addition: art installations by Jeffrey Barone.

4/25/19 - Habitat Group is slated to open Smart Brickell in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood in 2021.The developer selected Beauchamp Construction as the general contractor for the mixed-use hotel and residential project. The master-planned development will consist of three smart towers designed by architect Hernando Carrillo, interiors by Arquitectonica Interiors, and concept and branding by Gensler.
