Turkish nightclub mogul buys Brickell space for first US location2/28/20 - BySabri Group, a Turkish entertainment company, paid $8.5 million for a commercial space at 801 Brickell Bay Drive, where it plans to open a lounge. Black Lion is converting the former storage and office space into a waterfront retail and restaurant project.

Brickell City Centre to build fire station, weighs expansions2/25/20 - As Brickell City Centre’s developer continues to reshape a growing and maturing City of Miami, it is prepared to deliver on its promise for a new fire station incorporated into the sweeping mixed-use development. The fire-rescue station and an improved public riverwalk are promised by Swire and its affiliates in a development agreement approved in January 2019 by the city commission.

Miami getting replacement fire station in 62-story Brickell project2/25/20 - After an agreement with a developer that included a fire station in Brickell fell through, the City of Miami is moving forward with a new developer who will be building a 62-story tower. The new developer, similar to what had been agreed upon with Southside Place, will replace the city owned Fire Station No. 4 at 1105, 1115, 1131 and 1133 SW Second Ave. with a new, state-of-the-art fire station.
